I decided to take some much needed time off work and visit my sister in London, so here I am in the big smog, loving every minute of it. I’ve always had such a love for London, ever since I could navigate my way around the underground, from the age of 12. It’s a city that thrives on everyone’s hustle and there are endless possibilities. I will write a London diary post and tell you exactly what I’ve been getting up to, but for now, I could not wait to share these pictures.
(Outfit & location detail on the bottom of the post!)
I dragged my sister to Notting Hill, if you don’t know where that is or what’s there then if I just say, that’s where the colourful houses of London are then you may recognise them. The last time I went there was over 10 years ago, so it was nice visiting again.
Portabello market is in Notting Hill, and from the underground/ tube, you just need to get the central (red) line to Notting Hill station. The market wasn’t at it’s fullest, it’s better to come on the weekends, however there are still many shops and cafes to visit during the week.
The houses in Notting Hill are just breathtaking and idyllic, but I wanted to take my photos against the bright pastel coloured houses so we walked right through Portabello road and found plenty of them to be able to take good pictures.
So if you ever visit London, then Portabello Road should definitely be on your list!!
