Let’s go to the beach beach

Summer is finally here in rainy England. So my friend and I decided to visit my favourite beach and it happens to be just 10 minutes drive from where I live. This beach has the most expensive beach huts in England. It is called Mudeford beach, or as I like to call it, Hengistbury Head beach, either way, local people will know what you mean.

On the little land train (takes 6 mins on the train, 15 mins to walk) to the beach from the main car park, the conductor told us that a beach hut had been sold for over £200K, the same amount as an average home in England! incroyable!! (excuse my French) It’s my favourite beach because it’s quieter, more scenic and just beautiful in comparison to Bournemouth beach. The giant rocks mixed in with the tall green grass against the sandy dunes and the blue sea, it is picture perfect!

We spent over four hours frolicking in the sea, sun bathing, eating our homemade picnic and drinking cider as we watched the waves come and go. Perfect Wednesday afternoon.

I had to bribe my friend to take pictures of me, and low and behold, we got 4 semi-decent ones.

Outfit details on the bottom!

The single land train journey costs £2 per person, it runs every half hour until 4/5pm depending on the time of year.
